Quality Plating began in 2012 when David Johnson, a third-generation metal finisher, decided to bring old-world plating craftsmanship to modern manufacturing. What started as a small operation in David's garage has grown into a 12,000 square foot facility serving clients across Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska.
We realized early on that many shops were cutting corners—rushing jobs, using inferior chemicals, or sub-contracting critical work. We built Quality Plating on the opposite principle: every part deserves attention, every deadline matters, and every client deserves honesty about what their metal needs.
Today, we operate a fully equipped plating facility with multiple chrome, nickel, copper, and zinc lines. We handle everything from single custom pieces to high-volume production runs. But despite our growth, we still operate with the personal attention of a small shop—we know our clients by name, remember their requirements, and treat their parts like they're our own.
