Superior conductivity and adhesion. Copper strike and heavy copper plating for electronics, aerospace, and industrial applications.
Copper plating is the foundation of many metal finishing processes. It provides excellent electrical conductivity, superb solderability, and outstanding adhesion for subsequent coatings. At Quality Plating, we offer both copper strike plating for thin decorative layers and heavy copper plating for functional applications requiring significant build-up.
Our copper plating baths are meticulously maintained with continuous filtration, regular analysis, and impurity removal. We use high-purity copper sulfate and acid copper formulations that deliver bright, smooth deposits with excellent throwing power into recesses and blind holes.
Thin, bright copper layer (0.5-2 microns) used as an undercoat for other plating. Excellent adhesion to steel, zinc die cast, and aluminum after proper pretreatment.
Thick copper deposits (25-100+ microns) for engineering applications. Used for EMI shielding, heat dissipation, and dimensional restoration of worn parts.
Uniform copper plating for printed circuit boards. Meets IPC Class 2 and Class 3 specifications with exceptional thickness distribution in through-holes.
Masking and plating services for specific areas only. Economical solution when only certain surfaces require copper coating.
Heavy copper pricing is cumulative based on thickness required. PCB pricing includes plating up to 1 mil thickness in through-holes. Volume discounts available for production orders of 100+ square feet.
